The Friendly Moon....!!

The moon shines in the night sky

Just as the sun shines by the day

And it seems to be quite shy

As it moves slowly behind the clouds in its own special way.

The moon stays awake all the night

And it goes to sleep during the day

Like a caring little friend

Who keeps awake while you are asleep, as you may say.

The moon has many phases, like it can be full or even crescent as per the days

But it never complains during any of its stage

Instead it teaches us to gladly accept, whatever be the ways.

So, it is like a true friend who really does give us courage.

The moon looks very pretty as it moves behind the trees or above a sea,

It looks even prettier when it smiles back at me.

The moon looks as if it is playing hide ‘n’ seek, behind the clouds

Which makes me think it is my friend among the biggest crowds.

The moon is like a precious silvern ball

A single of its kind

I feel its simplicity and charisma make it the best of all

And also an immortal treasure that one can ever find.
